Here at Sexual Assault Centre London, we are committed to create safe and inclusive spaces for all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Questioning, Two-Spirit, Intersex & Asexual (LGBTQ2IA+) folks. 

In keeping with this commitment we have signed on to the following community standards:

Needed Procedural Elements for Full Inclusion

In order to support fulsome trans inclusion at SACL, we would need to ensure we address the following:

We would also need to be intentional about outreaching to the trans community, and utilizing the language of ‘all genders welcome’ and ‘trans positive space’.

It is good practice to also normalize the process of introducing ourselves with the pronoun we wish to be address by. For example:
